Happy Birthday!!

So today was my hubby's Birthday. We won't say how old he is, but he is VERY old! So we celebrated just the three of us here at our house. Not overly exciting I know, but taking Gavin out is like dealing with a volcano that could erupt any minute. So for us less stress is the best. Above is my sad attempt at a homemade cake. I think the next time I'll just mosey over to the good ol bakery. Poor Brian! I'm definately no betty or martha as you can see:)

A "Perfect" Weekend

So this weekend we headed to the"burg" to do a little tubing for Brian's birthday. We took Bailey and Brad, Jackie, and Kelli met us there. It was FRIGID, but we all had a really good time. When I first saw the hills I said to myself "they aren't all that big" WHATEVER!! When I got to the top I was scared to death. Jackie was the only one really feeling my pain, weren't ya Jack! Then we all headed over to LaRosa's to warm up and eat some yummy pizza. All in all fun times.

It's FA-REEZING!!!

We ventured out into the frigid weather, but we made sure our little monkey was all nice and toasty!

He's Eating!!

My little baby is growing up so fast! He's already started to eat for the past couple of weeks now.

He's getting it down pretty good as long as he doesn't get distracted by his feet! And of course, we all need a change of clothes after he eats. No matter how hard we try not to get any orange foods on his clothes it never fails. Then there's the occasional sneeze while he's got a mouth full of sweet potatoes, which is what happened the other day to poor Brian...then it was into the bath for both of them and scrubbing out their clothes for me!

The McElwain's

This weekend the McElwains came up for a visit.

We all had a great time together! The men stayed home with the baby while Jackie and I got to do a little shopping....YAY!! Gavin is on his baby surfboard and has just learned that when he shakes the links in his hand they rattle. So he has been shaking that thing like crazy. We've decided his name should of been BamBam.

A Very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We actually got to spend a whole week at home with the parents this christmas. We had a great time with everyone! Gavin got to experience all the joys of the season, but of course was a clueless soul about any of it. He did however, manage to rake in TONS of goodies from both of our families. And I got to dress him in the appropriate christmas attire to make him love me for a lifetime!
